In the first quarter of 2021, the French food delivery service market saw varied performance across the top Android apps, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery showed a promising start with downloads growing from 49K in the final week of December to a peak of 119K in mid-February. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, starting at 951K and reaching over 1.4M by the end of March.

Deliveroo: Food Delivery UK experienced a similar pattern in downloads, initially at 35K and then peaking at 58K in early February. Weekly active users increased from around 350K to over 473K in the same period, indicating a solid user engagement.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste witnessed fluctuating download numbers, starting at 26K and dipping to 14K in early March, followed by a rise to 28K towards the end of the month. Active users presented a more stable growth, with an initial 503K rising to a peak of 817K.

Jow - easy recipes & groceries saw download numbers that initially surged to 32K in early January but then showed a declining trend, stabilizing around 19K-27K. The app's weekly active users grew slightly from 97K to 125K during the quarter.

Just Eat France had a steady performance in downloads, hovering between 18K and 25K throughout the quarter. The app's active user base remained fairly consistent, with a slight increase from 103K in early January to 108K by the end of March.
